Primary Function:

Monitor broadcast networks to ensure that all networks maintain maximum reliability. Provides 1st tier technical support to affiliate radio stations.

Basic Tasks:

  • Ingest of programming via a variety of technical sources (satellite, ISDN, WAN), routing and transmission via multi-channel satellite transmission system.
  • Capture and replay of programming on a time delayed basis.
  • Broadcast system monitor, control and authorization.
  • Constant monitoring, resolution and documentation of any network issues.
  • Provide technical support to commercial radio stations on a variety of technical platforms.
  • Escalate problems as needed to engineering staff.
  • Open, correctly update and track trouble tickets.
  • Able to work in a 24x7/365 environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Education
    • High School / GED Degree
  • Structured Training or Work Experience
    • Min 2 years of IT Networking Systems or Broadcasting/Satellite Systems
  • Skills
    • Strong Customer Service
    • Foundation in Networking Knowledge/Understanding with ability to troubleshoot effectively
    • Following Steps/Procedures during Emergency Situations
    • Ability to organize, prioritize issues and multitask
    • Attention to Detail
    • Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills; verbal and written
    • Able to work and resolve problems independently with little supervision

    • Experience with video or audio production or broadcasting
