Broadcasts Include Games from Qualifying Series, First Two Playoff Rounds, Eastern/Western Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final

NEW YORK, NY, July 29, 2020 – In conjunction with NBC Sports, Westwood One will present live, play-by-play action of the National Hockey League’s return to the ice, beginning with the 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers and continuing until a champion is crowned.

Westwood One/NBC Sports audio coverage will restart on Saturday, August 1, at 2:45 p.m. ET when the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers meet in the first game of their best-of-five qualifying series at Rogers Place in Edmonton, the NHL’s Western Conference hub. Coverage continues Wednesday, August 5, at 7:45 p.m. ET when the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Montreal Canadiens in game 3 of their best-of-five qualifying series from the NHL’s Eastern Conference hub, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

The network will also broadcast select games during the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, every game from both the Eastern and Western Conference Finals, as well as every game from the Stanley Cup Final.
